The approach to commercial content production should differ very little from all other kinds of filmic media - the key tenets of story, character, and audience should drive decision making in the creative process from inception to release.
These were the driving forces behind our approach to creative campaigns we crafted for Unite Student Accommodations. It was crucial to approach each location as a blank canvas, painting with colour, light and character to achieve our brief. These locations needed to become more than just spaces for students; they needed to become "Homes for success".
By bringing story to our art direction, we imagined the audience within the spaces we treated. We used props that were realistic to a student living in these rooms, invited in talent to breathe life into communal spaces, and recorded video testimonials bringing Unite's brand positioning to life.
